Every year, Montreal welcomes more than 18,000 international students that reign from over 150 countries. In fact, in 2013, Montreal ranked atop the list of study abroad destinations. One explanation may be Montréal’s relatively low cost of living in comparison to other international city.
In spring and summer, students are able to enjoy a lot of outdoor music, films, arts, cultural and sports. During autumn months, students enjoy the spectacular colours that seemingly take over the city. Come winter, students freely embark on ski trips to Mont-Tremblant, play outdoor hockey with natives, or curl up next to a warm fire.
When students are not in class, they often experience Montréal’s night-life scene that includes a café society, clubs, theatres and music venues.
