Holiday Group Language Programs
There are two types of group activities available to GEOS Montreal students. First, there are regular weekly activities. A minimum of two excursions per week are organized for GEOS Montreal students, and these weekly activities vary by season. Some examples of these activities include karaoke, laser quest, paintball, hiking trips to Mount Royal, tobogganing, skiing, or participating in a bowling or pool tournament. Other kinds of group activities are available for Holiday Groups. These tours are scheduled on a daily basis for students or groups of students enroled in special pre-packaged programs, which combine part-time or full-time English and French classes with afternoon and/or weekend activities. Excursions for this type of program include sightseeing, as well as doing athletic or cultural activities.
In both cases, after-school activities are organised to provide students with an opportunity to practice their language skills in a non-academic environment, and to put into effect what they have learned in class. At GEOS Montreal, we feel that after-school tours are an important part of the language learning process, and therefore strongly encourage students to enrol in the various fun and educational activities! If you are interested in sending a group to Montreal to study English, French, Japanese, Spanish, or any other language, please send your request to admissions@geosmontreal.com.
