Über Montreal und unsere Schule
Die zweitgrößte Stadt Kanadas, Montreal, befindet sich auf einer Insel im Sankt Lorenz- Strom in der Provinz Quebec im Osten von Kanada. Montreal liegt 190 km von der Hauptstadt Ottawa, 275 km von der Provinzhauptstadt Quebec City, 407 km von Boston, 550 km von Kanadas größter Stadt Toronto und 625 km von New York entfernt.
Unsere Sprachschule befindet sich in einem modernen Gebäude in Downtown Montreal, an der Ecke Sherbrooke und Crescent Street mit vielen historischen Gebäuden und vornehmen Häusern, was als die „goldene Meile“ bezeichnet wird. Gleich neben unserer Schule liegen
das Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, das Ritz Carlton Hotel, und der berühmte Holt Renfrew Department Store. Die Crescent Street ist eine der größten Touristenattraktionen in Montreal und es gibt viele Bars, Restaurants, Cafés und Gallerien. Die Straße wird oft für Festivals und Events gesperrt wie beispielsweise beim Formel 1 Grand Prix.

  It has been five months since I joined GEOS. I was so happy to achieve the required TOFEL score that I needed to be accepted to university after three months of English classes. In addition, I have been studying French for about one month, starting with zero background, and now my family and friends couldn't believe how fast I learned to introduce myself and ask questions in French. I believe that, the small amount of students in each class, the strong interaction between teachers and students, the extra friendly and helpful staff, and the location of this school, make it very easy and comfortable for students to study and meet new friends.
