GEOS Montreal helps international students and professionals to gain an educational work experience in a North American work environment. These students and professionals will develop and apply their expertise with the goal of improving their employment opportunities internationally.

GEOS Montreal is presently working with many partners, guaranteeing a variety of unpaid internship positions in a large variety of industries such as IT, Design, Marketing, Trade, Administration, Tourism, and Hospitality to qualified candidates.

  • Forward candidate info to our partners and potential companies that have requested interns with similar profiles.
  • Mediate communication between intern and the company to ensure an ideal placement.
  • Ensure all candidates have valid visas, insurance, and clearly understand the internship position and agreement.
  • Arrange lodging and provide support to ensure a trouble free placement.
  • Maintain communication with candidates and the company to ensure a successful placement.
  • Provide a great learning and cultural experience.


The process to enroll in
the internship program is

Inquiries from candidates:
Agents and various associates recruit potential candidates

Applicant reviews:
Analyze the candidate's application and determine if all prerequisites are met.
Intermediate or higher English or French level.
Appropriate work experience and education.
Professional appearance.

Telephone Interview:
The first interview to ensure the candidate's character and ensure their fluency in English or French.

Placement:
Forward candidate information to potential companies that have requested interns with similar profiles.

Coordination:
Mediate communication between the intern and the company to ensure an ideal placement.

Visas/insurance/agreements:
Ensure all candidates have valid visas, insurance and clearly understand the internship position and agreement.

Communication:
Maintain communication with all candidates and the intern company to ensure a successful course.


Length of the Internship
The applicant needs to register for at least 3 months in the Comprehensive English Program or the Comprehensive French Program.

The length of the internship should be equal or less than the time of studies.

General prices

  • Placement fee for the internship: $1,600
  • School fees
