Summer in Montreal As the warm sun of summer shines above Montreal, the city lights-up with its dozens of summer festivals and special events! The Montreal Jazz Festival, the Just for Laughs Festival, the International Fireworks Competition, and the Grand Prix Formula One race, are just some examples of the types of events Montreal has to offer in the summer. Going to the Ste Helene Beach or the La Ronde Amusement Park are also some favourite activities of GEOS Montreal students.
Fall in Montreal Fall is a time of stunning colors and long, relaxing walks in the cooler autumn weather! Montrealers love to enjoy the season by hiking on the Mount-Royal or enjoying the gorgeous scenery of Ste Helen’s Island. Favorite activities also include visiting the Montreal Fine Arts Museum, or starting the new season in style by shopping on Ste-Catherine Street. Autumn is also a great time to stroll in the charming “Plateau” neighborhood and stop for a warm, fresh-baked Montreal bagel!
Winter in Montreal Winter in Montreal is filled with so many exciting activities! If you are athletic or love nature, you will find numerous options for snow sports, as well as some amazingly beautiful landscapes to explore. And if you want to keep out of the cold, countless indoor activities await you: museum visits, indoor sports and games, or simply shopping in the underground city; you will never be bored in Montreal!
Spring in Montreal As the snow begins to melt and the weather starts to warm-up, spring brings a sense of rejuvenation to the whole city of Montreal. Spring is also a great time to do some sightseeing, like visiting the Notre Dame Basilica or the Olympic Stadium. Also, no spring season is the same without experiencing the fun of going to one of Montreal’s sugar shack locations!

![]() We are from Mexico and we have been here for 4 months. 4 awesome months in which we have had a great experience. Here, you can learn a lot about different cultures because as you already know, Montreal is a multicultural city. Our experience in GEOS Montreal has been really nice because here we have the opportunity to have fun while we learn languages; the fact that it's a language school doesn't mean that it has to be boring. We also have had the pleasure to know a lot of nice people, the students and GEOS staff as well. We can summarize that Montreal and GEOS have been the perfect combination to enjoy our stay here. Thanks to the staff. Thanks to Montreal. Thanks to GEOS. Karla and Yessica Mexico |
